This is a generic template, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review it — and confirm it matches what the app actually does — before relying on it for a real, public launch. If you operate in the EU/UK, California, or elsewhere with specific data-protection law (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), this template does not by itself make you compliant.
Privacy Policy

What we store. Your name, email, a password hash (never your plain-text password), your role (host/guest/both), bio, topics, and any episode briefs, talking points, or reviews you post. All of this is stored in this service's own database — nothing is sold or shared with third-party advertisers.

Email visibility. Your email address is only shown to another user once you've both expressed mutual interest in each other. It is never shown to anyone else, and it is never included in the public Discover listing.

Reviews. If you leave a review after a mutual match, your name, avatar, rating, and comment are shown on the other person's profile to anyone who views it.

Cookies. A single cookie keeps you signed in. It's not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Deleting your data. Deleting your account (Profile → Danger zone) permanently removes your profile, posts, interests, and reviews about or by you.

Password resets. If you request a password reset, a one-time link is generated and currently logged to the server's own console (no email delivery is wired up yet) — only whoever operates this server can see it.

Contact. For questions about your data, contact whoever operates this instance of the service.
